Laminin, what is it? How does it point to Jesus?

What is Laminin

What is Laminin? I’ll admit that I’m a little slow on some things and maybe more things than I would want to admit. A good friend of ours shared a video, by Louie Giglio (shown below), that I thought was an amazing example of the power and the majesty of God. The video is long, but so worth watching, especially the ending.  Mr. Giglio did an incredible job of not only presenting this, but making it all understandable and more importantly giving God all the credit and glory.  So what am I slow on? Well this video was done in 2008!

So what is Laminin and why is it such a big deal?

If you were like me and haven’t heard of Laminin until now, and are wondering what is Laminin and what does it have to do with Jesus, let me explain it a little, but please watch the video before you do too much investigation. Laminin is a cell adhesion molecule, it is a very important molecule in your body, and without it everything within you would fall apart. It is what holds us all together, literally.

In Colossians 1:17 it says “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together” and it’s true, Jesus is the glue that holds us together, whether you believe in Him or not, He is in you. He knows all about you, from the inside out. He put us together while we were still in our mother’s womb, Psalm 139.13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.” God’s creation is all around us for us to see and we don’t have to look that far, just a look in the mirror. Psalm 139:14 KJV – “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.” You are wonderfully made. God knows you and knows your heart. He is in you and holds you together, every single one of your cells! So what is Laminin to you?  For me Laminin is proof of God’s love for us; proof that He is in us and that His words are true.

God bless, Bruce
