The Battle Plan for Prayer Back Cover Blurb:

Prayer Can Accomplish What God Can Accomplish

Inspired by the Kendrick Brothers movie War Room, this exciting resource from the #1 best-selling team behind The Love Dare and The Resolution for Men is designed to help anyone- of any age- become a powerful person of prayer.

Including Scripture examples and personal testimonies, The Battle Plan for Prayer explains the fundamentals of how effective prayer works, inspires readers toward a closer relationship with God, and shows them how to develop specific prayer strategies for life.

Prayer should become your first plan of attack in all of life’s battles, not your last resort. If you want to walk in greater victory while enjoying mightily answered prayer on a regular basis, it’s time to engage with God at a deeper level. Then you can discover firsthand that nothing is beyond His reach, and that knowing Him is the greatest reward of all.

Book Review: The Battle Plan for Prayer

The Battle Plan for Prayer is a companion to the War Room book and movie. As the subtitle says, this book covers topics from basic training to targeted strategies.

Whether you are new to prayer or a prayer veteran, there are strategies offered in this book that will benefit everyone. The book begins with the prayer basics and end with specific prayer strategies for many situations. While I enjoyed the entire book, my favorite part is the Ammunition section. In this final section of The Battle Plan for Prayer, you get a quick reference guide to various prayer strategies. You will find a list of suggested prayers for yourself, your spouse, children, Pastor, Church, those in authority, the lost, fellow believers, your city and more. There is a list of the various names of God, our Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The great thing is that these all come with Biblical references. One final thing that I found very helpful was the Spiritual Temperature Test that will help you determine your current spiritual temperature.

I believe The Battle Plan for Prayer will help your prayer life and draw you closer to God. I’d recommend this book for anyone that is ready to take their prayer life to a whole new level, but I highly recommend this book for new believers or anyone that has not spent a lot of time in prayer. If you’re sick of fighting losing battles in any or many areas of your life, then this book is for you. Every day we find ourselves in real spiritual warfare and it’s important to have a battle plan for success. The good news is that God has laid out that battle plan and if you don’t know where to find it in the Bible, no worries, this book is a great tool to help you get started.

I hope you found this review helpful. If so, please share it with your family and friends, so they can learn about this great book too. You can click on any image of the book on this page to see it on Amazon.

There’s no reason why we can’t see God’s Spirit poured out in abundance on us, like He’s done in days past-reviving families, restoring broken lives. Seeing salvation breaking out en masse, drawing more people to Christ every day. Addictions…, abuse, pornography, violence, self-destruction…replaced by a fresh zeal for God and living in spiritual freedom… There’s no reason why we can’t see all these things–and more. Unless we decide not to pray. Unless we decide not to care….
