Book Review: The Prayer of Faith
The Prayer of Faith is a book that is filled with stories that will inspire faith. Carrie Judd Montgomery is defiantly someone that knows about prayers what a powerful impact the it can have when mixed child-like faith. Her story is sure to inspire readers, as it did me, to believe God for the impossible.
As times become increasingly more challenging with all the world events, life’s increasing pressures and being that we are in the end of days, our faith, I believe, will be tested in greater measure as we go forward. These events and even things in our everyday life can tempt us to fear, but God offers another option and The Prayer of Faith reminds us that it is faith that pleases God.
As I read each story of God’s moving on the lives of fellow believers, my own faith grew. As I was reading this book, I thought how easy it is for us to see what is going on around us and forget the miracles that God still performs each day. While this book was written in 1880, I believe the truths and stories of this book are timeless.
I’d recommend The Prayer of Faith to anyone that battles with illness, fear, anxiety, doubt or would simply like to have their faith built up for a battle or battles they are facing. It’s an easy read and the wonderful stories of God’s love, goodness and work will keep the pages turning.

Thanks for taking the time to read this review and God bless!
Our faith in God must be so steadfast that even if the evidence of all our senses should deny His word, we must consider them as deceiving us, and still continue to uphold His faithfulness. Such faith as that never fails to remove, sooner or later, the mountain of difficulty or doubt. …Doubt is fatal to faith.
